The Intelligent Power Distribution Module (iPDM) provides conditioned and unconditioned output power to system components. The unit is driven by vehicle power with each output channel individually fused and controlled. It is capable of being independently controlled either locally, using panel-mounted circuit breakers, or remotely, over Ethernet networks, using Tactronics’ Power Manager™ software (available separately). The iPDM also incorporates an embedded control and data acquisition capability which allows for individual channel control and real-time monitoring of channel voltage and current, available as network distributed data. When connected to an Ethernet network and using Tactronics’ Power Manager™, full access to data and channel control is enabled. As a distinct IP-addressable module, the iPDM supports smart spare logistics through cable-based address determination.
