The 14-Port Managed Ethernet Switch is a COTS computer networking product that has
been designed for deployment in harsh environments. It provides for both Fast Ethernet and
Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. All Ethernet ports are auto-negotiating to automatically
determine data traffic speed and operating mode (full or half-duplex). Fully configurable
using the device manager web interface or a terminal emulation program (e.g., HyperTerminal)
via the serial console port, the switch also features extensive SNMP network management tools.
