The Enhanced Driver Display Unit (EDDU) is an integrated, PC-based monitoring device that enables the driver to see real-time vehicle system status. A two-part device, the EDDU includes both Control and CPU/Display modules. The Control module is the user interface and main power connection for the EDDU. The CPU/Display module includes the system processor and display.

The EDDU also includes 10/100BASE-T and USB connectivity for expanded interface, data storage and network communications capabilities.
