Over the past five years Tactronics has been an integral member of the design, development and manufacturing team for integrated PC-based mobility platforms for the United States Special Operation Forces (SOF), the United States Army, the United States Army Research Laboratory, the United States Navy, NASA, and the United Kingdom Special Forces. Our rugged, flexible and scalable products include: computers, sunlight-readable displays, software, power distribution modules, system integration hubs, Ethernet switches, digital intercommunication systems, peripherals, and handheld, wireless, monitoring and video systems. Tactronics’ ruggedized computing solutions, currently deployed on maritime, terrestrial and airborne Special Forces platforms, have fulfilled the goal of force interoperability and have served without fail. These network-centric systems, operating in the extreme conditions associated with Special Forces missions have allowed operators to be more clearly informed of the current tactical situation and the performance of their mobility platform. The ability to easily access large amounts of correlated data has aided in dynamic decision making, further enhancing the survivability of the platforms and crews.
