Over the past five (5) years Tactronics has been an integral member of the design, development and manufacturing team for integrated PC-based mobility platforms for the United States Special Operation Forces (SOF), the United States Army, the United States Army Research Laboratory, the United States Navy, NASA, and the United Kingdom Special Forces. By focusing on these core competencies, Tactronics provides advanced tactical integrated electronics solutions to mission critical needs associated with present and future communication requirements. Our rugged, flexible and scalable systems include: computers, sunlight-readable displays, peripherals, digital intercommunication systems, self-contained systems, handheld systems, wireless systems, monitoring systems and video systems. Tactronics’ ruggedized computing solutions, currently deployed on maritime, terrestrial and airborne SOF platforms, have fulfilled their intended use of supporting the operational goal of force interoperability and have served without fail. Tactronics network-centric systems, operating in the extreme conditions associated with SOF use, have allowed operators to be more clearly informed of their current tactical situation and the performance of their host mobility platform. In addition, this user-friendly depiction of large amounts of correlated data has aided in dynamic decision making capability, further enhancing the survivability of SOF mobility platforms and crews. Our success in this arena has allowed us to grow into a leading defense industry provider of integrated communications systems for hostile environments.
